Catleford ice fishing derby

The Castleford charity ice fishing derby is a annual ice fishing event held on the Ottawa River every year . All money raised in 2012 will go to local organizations. This years money will go to Renfrew and Arnprior Community Living, and support for ectodermaldysplasia.
Due to the enormous support and donations by local businesses and the community the derby has grown to a very large annual event with hundreds of people attending, and thousands of dollars in cash and donated prizes to be won.
Our main emphasis is to make sure everyone enjoys the derby and that every child recieves a prize for their effort during the day even if they don't catch a fish. At the end of the day we all gather at the Horton Recreation Center for prize allocations, food, and live entertainment.
